The Trek around Manaslu is considered to be harder than most parts of Nepal. You trek on the rough trails steeping suddenly as you hike further toward the Tibetan influence area leaving behind Hindu influence villages. The trek begins at Arughat which takes 4 hours drive into the mountain road. Arughat can be reached from the ancient town of Gorkha, or Trishuli, or you may opt for a direct drive to Arughat from Kathmandu via Dhading Bazar. Trek duration: 18 days.

Suggested Itinerary Outline:
Trek from Arughat to  Soti Khola---Labubesi---Tatopani—Jagat---Ekle Bhatti---Deng---Ghap---Namrung---Lho---Kargyu Chholing Gompa---Samdo---Larkya Rest House---Bimtang---Gho---Dharapani----Syange---Bulbule---Besi Sahar. Drive back from Besi Sahar to Kathmandu.
